DEVOTIONAL: “JESUS PRAYED FOR UNITY”
Many hula ministries are busy preparing for Share Da Aloha so I will be quick and to the point. When Share Da Aloha started, it was to bring together all the hula ministries. And this unity still stands today, thanks to God and thanks to those who participate.
Praise God when I hear that hula ministries are also coming together to worship at an event, aside from Share Da
Aloha. One hula ministry invited two other hula ministries to help them with a fundraiser luau. Another hula ministry invites three other local hula ministries to dance at Hawaiian festivals. Two hula ministries joined forces together which helped them rent one studio and have more room to practice.
BIG MAHALO for keeping the spirit of aloha and spirit of unity amongst each other in your hula ministries. Here are some Scriptures that confirm that you are doing God’s will in uniting with each other.
John 17:20-23… is Jesus’ prayer to His Father: “I’m not praying just for them but for those who will believe in me, because of them and their witness about me. The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind. Just as You, Father are in me and I in You. so they might be one heart and mind with us. Then the world might believe that You, in fact, sent me. The same glory You gave me, I gave them. So they’ll be unified and together as we are – I in them and you in me. Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, and give the godless worldevidence that You’ve sent me and loved them in the same way You’ve loved me.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
